Aluminium tig welder • Eddy County, New Mexico

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Eddy County, New Mexico. The role involves feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
