Domestic gas engineer wanted in Pike County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Pike County, Alabama. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 2+ years on the tools preferred.
