Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Cherokee County, North Carolina. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Rotating shifts.
