Pipe TIG welder — Bagwai

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Bagwai, Kano State. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
