Sheet metal welder wanted in Somerset County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Somerset County, New Jersey. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
