Gas meter installer • Saline County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Saline County, Missouri. You will be based in a gas distribution network. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Your main tasks: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
