Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Doma, Nasarawa State. You will work in a residential tower block. Your main tasks: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 5+ years on the tools preferred.
