Bar bender and fixer • Irwin County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Irwin County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
