Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Lubbock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Lubbock County, Texas. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
