Stainless steel welder wanted in Ochiltree County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Ochiltree County, Texas. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 1+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
