Sheet metal welder • Fife, Scotland

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Fife, Scotland. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
