Crane operator wanted in City of Waynesboro

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. The role involves: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
