Urgent requirement: fabricator-welder (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on an industrial construction site. On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
