Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Seward County, Nebraska. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Six days a week, one day off.
