Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
