Concrete placer • Westchester County, New York

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete placer in Westchester County, New York. You will work in a residential housing project. The role involves: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
