TIG welder wanted in Lassen County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Lassen County, California. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
