Groundsman • Chicot County, Arkansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Chicot County, Arkansas. You will work at a plant nursery. On the job you will handle: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
