Vacancy available: dumper truck operator (Maine)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Knox County, Maine. You will work in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Day to day you will check for underground cables and services before digging; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations.
