Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. On a typical shift you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
