Production welder — West Carroll Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Full-time with occasional weekends.
