Safety marshal wanted in McDowell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in McDowell County, West Virginia. Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
