Cnc turning machinist — Denali Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Denali Borough, Alaska. The job is in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg You will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish.
