QC technician • North Ayrshire, Scotland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC technician in North Ayrshire, Scotland. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Requirements: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
