Urgent requirement: structural MIG welder (Washington)

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Asotin County, Washington. The job is at an automobile body shop. On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
