Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Erie County, Ohio. Day to day you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
