Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Kaga, Borno State. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Overtime paid at a premium rate.
