Kitchenhand wanted in Putnam County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Putnam County, New York. You will work in a hospital canteen. Day to day you will polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Performance bonus on top of base pay.
