Immediate opening: industrial sewing operator (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Mitchell County, Kansas. You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
