What we are looking for: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Your main tasks: • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer 4+ years on the tools preferred.
