Backhoe operator wanted in Borough of Tameside

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Borough of Tameside, England. Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Full-time, day shift.
