We are recruiting: uPVC welding machine operator (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Woodbury County, Iowa. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. On a typical shift you will insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely 2+ years on the tools preferred. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
