Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Rotating shifts. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
