Thermal insulation technician • Woodson County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Woodson County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy building site. Day to day you will fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Full-time, day shift.
