MIG welder • Jaba, Kaduna State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Jaba, Kaduna State. You will work at an automobile body shop. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings We offer ₦600 per hour plus benefits.
