We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Mercer County, West Virginia. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day-to-day duties: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
