Join our team: finishing presser (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Bertie County, North Carolina. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
