Cold store insulation technician • Gwynedd, Wales

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Gwynedd, Wales. On the job you will handle: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks What we are looking for: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
