Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer.
