Pipe TIG welder — Ethiope East

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Ethiope East, Delta State. The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off.
