Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Pulaski County, Illinois. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
