Join our team: we are hiring a laundry presser in Amherst County, Virginia. You will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
