Gtaw welder wanted in Shiawassee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Shiawassee County, Michigan. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift.
