Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Day-to-day duties: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
