Urgent requirement: tile mason (California)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tile mason in Alpine County, California. Your main tasks: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas What we are looking for: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
