Now hiring: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in Garrard County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid • Recharge and service the air-conditioning system • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Valid driving licence Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
