Brick and block layer • Guernsey County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Guernsey County, Ohio. You will be based on a new-build development. Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
