Stitching operator • City of Emporia, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stitching operator in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
