Lathe operator • Greenbrier County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. The role involves key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Good attention to detail and steady hands • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
