Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Brown County, Illinois. You will be based at an accident repair centre. Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Good eye for colour matching and blending Day-to-day duties: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
